All TLX interiors feature premium materials, ultra-quiet cabins, and exceptional ride quality. Acura's Active Noise Cancellation and Active Sound Control systems keep noise outside, and quiet inside. Every TLX trim also comes with a ten-way power adjustable driver's seat with a two-way power lumbar support and two-position memory, Automatic Climate Control, heated front seats, Alcantara-trimmed or Perforated Premium Milano leather-trimmed upholstery, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-speed Follow. Honda's Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure redirects collision energy away from passengers and distributes it evenly throughout the vehicle body. This proprietary engineering makes the TLX, and all Honda vehicles for that matter, some of the safest cars, trucks, and SUVs on the road today. All TLX trims also come standard with anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution, Brake Assist, Collision Mitigation with Heads Up Warning, a Forward Collision Warning system, a Lane Departure Warning system with steering wheel haptic feedback, and Lane Keeping Assist.

Acura breeds vehicles that are intelligent. Their vehicles have a certain look to them, a feel to the way they drive, and atmosphere when you're seated inside of one, that makes them feel smarter than your average vehicle. It's ingrained in it's design and evident by their impressive technology suite. Even just at a glance, it's clear that Acura vehicles are different. Even something as tried and tested and the midsize sedan.

The all-new 2018 Acura TLX puts the intelligence back into the automobile. This bold take on the mid-sized sedan brings forth an impeccable exterior design, an interior that is lavish and technologically advanced, with an engine that belongs inside of a sports car. This unique ride is simply one of the smartest vehicles you'll ever have the pleasure to drive.

The 2018 TLX has a sleeker, more sports-infused design than in previous years. From an exterior standpoint, it's designed to be driven. It's got a muscular stature with a low riding body, equipped with chrome exhaust, that looks like a wild cat ready to pounce on its prey. Its front end is led by a wide mouth, with two redesigned Jewel Eye LED headlights flanking the diamond pentagon grille with the Acura "A" emblem planted right in the center of the face. On the inside, you get a mix of tech-heavy design with some sports inspired luxury. You're always comfortable, no matter where you're seated, and none of this impressive tech is ever out of reach.

You don't get an entire brand that has the reputation of creating intelligent vehicles without having the impressive performance to back it up. The 2018 TLX at its base model offers 206 Horsepower and 182 ft-lbs of torque out of a 2.4 4 cylinder engine, while at its highest level, the TLC SH-AWD muscles out an impressive 290 Horsepower and 290 ft-lbs of torque out of a 3.5 L Direct Injection SOHC, i-VTEC V6 engine. Factor in this speed with one of the most controlled drives you've ever had the luxury of driving, and you get one impressive machine.

Acura makes vehicles that feel intelligent, so there's no surprise that the 2018 Acura TLX comes stocked full with innovative and exciting technology. There's a variety of tech embedded within the TLX, some are designed to improve the quality of your drive, like AcuraLink, Apple Carplay/Android Auto, a wireless Smartphone charger, and a variety of other great audio features powered by an ELS Studio sound system. Others, like AcuraWatch, ACE Body Structure, and Acura's Surround View camera, are designed to make your ride as safe and comfortable as possible.

Come into West Side Acura to check out the 2018 Acura TLX for yourself or book a test drive online today!

West side Acura knows its product better than anyone. Our sales representatives pride themselves on their knowledge of not just our own vehicles, but the entire automotive market. Which is why when we talk up our vehicles, we do so knowing what other vehicles are capable of, and in which ways they are inferior. And we do mean inferior. Just look at the 2017 Acura ILX, a sleek, stylish sedan, or the 2017 Acura MDX, a lavish and beyond comfortable SUV, both of which cause their competition to bow down. But few do that more effectively than the 2017 Acura TLX.

The 2017 TLX is the backbone of Acura's vehicle slate. This luxury sedan is all encompassing, intelligence personified. The perfect Acura vehicle. It uses intelligence and technology in ways you never thought possible, and it's a characteristic embedded throughout its interior, exterior, and its performance. The TLX offers a drive like you've never experienced.

Let's take a closer look.

As a luxury vehicle, the 2017 Acura TLX offers an interior that is unmatched within its class. It uses a combination of the finest materials, including premium leather, refined wood accents, and a glossy core design that goes in tandem with the technology that is so prevalent throughout. The two front seats, both firm fitting and supple in texture, keep you safe and secure as well as comfortable no matter what driving speeds or road conditions you may face.

Speaking of the technology, the 2017 TLX offers an incredible array of features. From one of the most diverse audio systems, powered through Acura Premium Sound System, coupled with Acura Noise Cancellation, which softens the exterior noise to more driver-centric features like AcuraWatch or Precision All-Wheel Steer System, the 2017 Acura TLX offers you a drive that you won't soon forget.

Acura, as a brand, prides itself on its ability to be instantly identifiable. There's a smoothness to its curves, and a sharpness to its accents that clearly define the Acura exterior. Let's not forget that world famous front grille, with the Acura "A" displayed proudly in the center of the narrowly slopping front face and its twin Jewel Eye LED Headlights flanking on either side like a beautiful set of eyes. It's a face you can spot even at a distance, one that you can't help but admire.

Physically speaking, the TLX is a bigger bodied sedan, one that offers a soft elegance to a normally rigid design that plagues most luxury sedans. It's an exterior that is designed to help aid performance, aerodynamics being a priority to go along with its cool aesthetic. It's design helps with wind resistance which in turn helps with fuel efficiency, as well as just being a smoother drive in general.

All Style. All Performance. Introducing 2019 Acura TLX

The 2019 Acura TLX truly deserves the label of performance sports sedan. At West Side Acura in Edmonton, the TLX has won our hearts from the very first drive. With up to 290 horsepower, all-wheel drive, and all-wheel steering, it will win yours, too. This is the 2019 Acura TLX Edmonton drivers will love. Give us a call at 780-484-5444 to schedule a test drive, or just stop by our showroom today and discover the TLX for yourself.

From its sharply sculpted front end to the dual chrome exhaust pipes below the rear bumper, the TLX's cutting-edge style epitomizes Acura's Precision Concept design language. An A-SPEC edition offers even more aggressive styling with 19-inch dark chrome wheels, "shadow" accents around the grille and headlights, unique lower body panels, and a black spoiler along the edge of the rear deck lid. Acura describes the TLX's style as "All Beauty, All Beast." We call it stunning. Its bravura announces its mission, with purpose.

The style continues in the interior. The cockpit looks as good as the car drives, with top-grain Milano leather seats along with wood and aluminum accents on the doors and dashboard. The centre stack includes two screens: one for phone connectivity and navigation, and one for audio and climate controls. Ambient accent lighting in white or red sets the mood.

The TLX's mission is high-performance driving. The front-wheel-drive base and Tech levels get their motivation from a 2.4 litre, direct-injection, 16-valve i-VTEC four-cylinder engine matched with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. Precision All-Wheel Steer comes standard on these trim levels. Stepping up to the SH-AWD (Super Handling All Wheel Drive) and SH-AWD Tech editions unleashes a 24-valve, aluminum-alloy V6 that cranks out 290 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque. This powerplant channels its grunt to all four wheels through a 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. All trim levels use a drive-by-wire throttle system.

Acura has built its reputation on technology, from its championship-winning Acura Motorsports team to the cars and SUVs that you can drive home and park in your garage. In the TLX, technology is used to enhance the connection between the driver and the car. For instance, the TLX's Integrated Dynamic System (IDS) offers four driving modes to modulate throttle response and steering for every driving condition, from commuting to back-roads fun. AcuraWatch safety technology provides Forward Collision Warning, Collision Mitigation Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low Speed Follow, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Information, Rear Cross Traffic Monitor, and Road Departure Mitigation. The technology works with you so you can enjoy the drive.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto let you connect to your music, messages, and apps. A wireless smartphone charger means less clutter on your centre console. An optional surround view camera projects a 360-degree view at parking lot speeds via the navigation screen. An optional 10-speaker, 490-watt ELS Studio Premium Audio System plays your music with concert-hall clarity. The remote starter adjusts the seats, mirrors, and cabin temperature, so your TLX is exactly the way you want it when you're ready to start driving.

The 2018 Acura TLX has been refreshed, adding a new A Spec trim for enhanced style and handling. The front end benefits from a handsome facelift, while the advanced driver-assist safety features are now standard across the board. We will examine the most common frequently asked questions (FAQs) about this model.

Now in its fourth year, the Acura TLX benefits from a timely update. The refresh is most obvious with its front fascia, delivering a more pleasing look. Also for 2018, Acura added a new A Spec trim and upgraded its infotainment system.

The 2018 Acura TLX A Spec adds a sport-tuned suspension, delivering improved handling and a better ride. There is no power boost with this model, rather you will find  enhancements, including dark-metal surround and gun-metal mesh on the grille, smoked headlights and taillights, special side sills and rear spoiler, and a pair of exclusive exterior paint choices.

Eight grade levels are available: TLX, TLX Tech, TLX Tech A-Spec, TLX SH-AWD, TLX SH-AWD Tech, TLX SH-AWD Tech A-Spec, TLX SH-AWD Elite and TLS SH-AWD Elite A-Spec.  The first three are front-wheel drive, while the remaining five are all-wheel drive.

You will find standard front-wheel drive and available super-handling all-wheel drive. The standard engine is a 2.4-litre four-cylinder with an output of 206 horsepower and 182 pound-feet of torque. Acura pairs this engine with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and paddle shifters. Models equipped with super-handling all-wheel drive have a 3.5-litre V6 engine, generating 290 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission works alongside this engine. Paddle shifters are included.

Standard with this model is an audio package with seven speakers, Pandora, Aha and satellite radio. You also get Siri Eyes Free, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, and Bluetooth. All models have a USB audio interface and an auxiliary audio input. Upgrades bring in such features as navigation, a 10-speaker audio system, HD Radio and remote engine start. Among safety features you will find forward collision warning, collision mitigation, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, a rearview camera and adaptive cruise control. Upgrades include a head-up warning, blind spot information system, rear cross-traffic monitor and a surround-view camera system.

Any luxury manufacturer offering a compact sedan is worth comparing. Among the top competitors are the Audi A4, Lincoln MKZ and the Lexus IS. Models from BMW, Cadillac, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo are also worth a look. In the end, we are confident that the Acura's price point, tech features and refresh design will put it on top.
