2024 Acura Integra vs 2024 Audi A4

The competition is fierce in the sedan world, and the 2024 Acura Integra and the 2024 Audi A4 have entered the ring. Let's take a closer look at their performance features, design, and technology to determine which is better.

Notable Changes

The 320-horsepower Type S is new to the Acura lineup and will go on sale soon. This Acura Integra variant is more powerful, better to drive, and cooler-looking than the base car. The Type S joins other Acura performance variants in the TLX and MDX lines that also wear this badge.

The Audi A4's standard equipment line-up expands for 2024, including adaptive cruise control, park assist, and lane-keeping assist.

Infotainment and Technology Comparison

The Acura Integra comes with a 7.0-inch infotainment display as standard and a larger 9.0-inch unit available as an option. Both forego the frustrating touchpad controller found in other Acura products. A 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster is standard, which you can reconfigure to provide information for the driver in a variety of display modes. The larger touchscreen is part of the Technology package available for A-Spec models. It includes a smartphone wireless charging pad, a 5.3-inch head-up display, and three USB-C charging ports. All the Integra models feature Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The A4's infotainment system consists of a 10.1-inch touchscreen with excellent image quality. For 2024, all A4 45 models get remote start functionality via the myAudi app.

Interior Comfort Comparison

Acura has done a decent job of making the cabin look right at home in the brand's lineup. You’ll notice certain similar aspects from the TLX sedan and RDX SUV. There are heated sports seats are wrapped in faux-leather upholstery, making them incredibly comfortable. A-Spec models have an optional Technology package that adds faux-suede inserts to the front seats, 12-way power adjustments for the driver, and four-way power adjustments for the front passenger. As with most of today’s Audi lineup, you’ll find that the A4 blends contemporary with an upscale cabin environment.

Performance Features Comparison

The standard-issue Acura Integra is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine borrowed from the Honda Civic. All of these engines are front-wheel drive and come standard with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Still, A-Spec models can be had with an optional six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

Audi offers the A4 in two strengths: 40 and 45. Both are powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder with a 12-volt hybrid system and all-wheel drive. The 40 makes 201 horsepower, while the 45 ups the output to 261. Although we'd love a six-speed manual, a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic is the only transmission.

Safety and Driver Assistance Features Comparison

A host of driver-assistance features are included as standard in the Acura Integra, such as automated emergency braking and lane-keeping assist. A-Spec models with the optional Technology package come with front and rear parking sensors.

Audi has significantly upped the A4's standard safety content and driver-assistance features, making adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist standard. Previously only available on costly upper trim levels, they add a new layer to the A4's value.
