STOLLERY CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL FOUNDATION

West Side Acura is a proud supporter of the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation. As a part of the Yachimec Auto Group, we have helped to contribute over 2.7 Million dollars in fundraising to the Stollery. The Yachimec Auto Group is one of the most trusted names in the Edmonton Auto industry. We're committed to improving the lives of children within our community. For over 20 years, we've contributed to the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation and will continue to do so in the future.

Cecily is fundraising for the Kids with Cancer Society Bike Ride in September. Her own battle with a brain tumour in 2020 changed her life, and she is now dedicated to help other children in their battles. Help her help others by participating in her fundraiser. ❤️

West Side Acura sponsors the Breast Friends Dragon Boat Racing Team of Edmonton to raise awareness for breast cancer through the sport of dragon boat racing. The Breast Friends are all breast cancer survivors from every walk of life from Edmonton and the surrounding communities.

EDMONTON RINGETTE

West Side Acura sponsors Edmonton Ringette. The Edmonton Ringette Association provides organized competitive ringette for children and youth, to develop life and ringette skills through competition and fair play.

MY LUVPAK

West Side Acura supports My LuvPak Edmonton. Each year approximately 5800 kids in Alberta are rescued from threatening home situations, many of them living below the poverty line.
 
These children frequently enter foster care with nothing of their own, often transporting what little they have in a garbage bag. Join us and take action by helping My LuvPak provide joy, hope, and comfort to children coming into care, or who are affected by poverty and homelessness.

EDMONTON FIREFIGHTERS BURN TREATMENT SOCIETY

West Side Acura supports the Edmonton Firefighters Burn Treatment Society. The EFBTS raises funds and awareness for research, treatment, and the recovery of thermal injuries.

EMERALD ISLE DANCE SOCIETY

The Emerald Isle Dance Society (EIDS) is a non-profit organization promoting Irish culture, with top-notch dance instructors under the direction of the Goggin-Carroll School of Irish Dance. They teach Irish dance to all levels of participants, from beginners to world championship medal holders, and are a family-friendly community, where their students not only learn to dance; but make friends and have a good time.

STEVIE SCHWARTZBERG MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

We are proud to sponsor the Stevie Schwartzberg Memorial Golf Tournament, which raises money and awareness around Familial dysautonomia (FD). FD is a rare and devastating disorder that causes severe physical, emotional, and social problems. Living with FD is a daily challenge for those affected as well as their families.
 
Your generous support in the past has allowed over 50 FD patients to receive much-needed mental health support helping them cope with their disease throughout the pandemic.
COMOX VALLEY HEALTHCARE FOUNDATION GOLF TOURNAMENT
The 31st Annual Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation Golf Classic presented by RE/MAX Ocean Pacific Realty will be held at Crown Isle Resort & Golf Community on Friday, June 23rd. This event proudly supports local healthcare and has raised nearly $800,000 since the first event in the early nineties.
