The Acura Integrated Dynamic System is a feature equipped on new Acura models, taking performance and efficiency to the next level by providing the driver with control over their Acura's driving experience. This system allows the driver to toggle between various driving modes, which adjusts numerous systems within their Acura vehicle to adapt to the desired driving habits and environment.
Acura Integrated Dynamics System Drive Modes
While cruising around town or going through tough weather conditions on the open road, your Acura is ready to help you confidently venture through anything. The Acura Integrated Dynamics System comes with multiple Drive Modes, including Normal, Comfort, Economy, Sport, and Sport +. You should be able to find this system and its multiple drive modes on all new Acura models, giving you full control over its driving dynamics. Your Acura will always start in Normal Mode, perfect for daily driving around town. Switching to Comfort Mode will retain the same driving dynamics as Normal Mode, but it will reduce the steering input feel to require less energy while navigating your commute. Engaging Economy Mode maximizes fuel economy by making throttle input less sensitive and reducing climate control, giving you maximum driving range while on long trips. However, you can engage Sport Mode to increase steering feel, throttle response, exhaust noise, and power distribution to the rear wheels for models with the Super Handling all-wheel-drive. The Sport + Mode brings the same benefits as the Sport Mode with the addition of more responsive gear shifting that let the engine rev higher.
