Performance

The TLX features an available 3.5-litre V-6 direct-injection i-VTEC engine that produces 290 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque or the standard 2.4-litre four-cylinder with 206 horsepower and 182 lb-ft of torque. The V-6 is paired to a 9-speed sequential sport shift transmission engineered to enable the engine to operate at peak performance. At the same time, 2.4-litre features the world's first 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The result is lightning-quick gear changes, amplified torque, and immediate power delivery. Pair this with Acura's Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system that provides a special connection to the pavement below. SH-AWD is available on certain TLX models and is able to send up to 70% of torque to the rear wheels to provide you with confidence-inspiring traction and handling.
