How It Works

The Acura True Touchpad Interface offers multiple buttons for quick actions and shortcuts, along with a touchpad that lets you navigate the interface seamlessly. The Acura-exclusive touchpad control provides a user-friendly operation, allowing the user to swipe through menus precisely while providing various helpful functions. Aside from being more ergonomic, the touchpad makes it easier to command the infotainment system than leaning forward to use a typical touchscreen display.

Models Equipped With True Touchpad Interface

Most of the Acura lineup gets the Acura True Touchpad Interface, but some models don't since they don't have the space for the interface within their centre consoles. Although the MDX, RDX, and TLX have it since they feature a push-button gear selector, the NSX and ILX don't since their centre consoles don't have the space to accommodate the touchpad placement.
