Find the power steering pump, which is located on the driver's side of the engine, and locate the fluid return hose. Disconnect the hose and let the old fluid drain into a drain pan.
Step 4: Refill the system
Once you've drained the old fluid, reconnect the return hose to the power steering pump. Fill the reservoir with fresh Acura-approved fluid, using a funnel to avoid spilling. Add enough fluid so that it reaches the "full" line.
Step 5: Run the engine
Turn on the car and let it idle for a few minutes, turning the steering wheel back and forth to distribute the new fluid. Recheck the fluid level and add more if necessary.
